Elizabeth Villarreal specializes in employment litigation, representing plaintiffs in cases involving FEHA violations, wage and hour claims, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. With second-chair trial experience, Elizabeth skillfully handles matters from pre-litigation through trial, including drafting complaints, mediation briefs, contested motions, and settlement agreements. She also supervises associate attorneys and paralegals, ensuring the highest standard of legal service.
Elizabeth began her legal career in immigration law, managing a significant caseload and advocating for clients before USCIS and Immigration Court. She then transitioned to insurance defense, where she represented clients before courts and arbitration panels, conducted expert depositions, and prepared persuasive motions. These experiences have honed her litigation expertise across diverse legal fields.
Elizabeth earned her J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she received the CALI Award for Excellence in California Law Survey. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Merced.
