Ashley Silva-Guzman represents clients in a wide range of employment law matters, including wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, and wage and hour claims. Prior to joining Laurel, Ashley gained experience at both plaintiff- and defense-side firms, including a prominent employment law group. Ashley’s diverse legal background includes work in corporate immigration, juvenile defense, and public interest, where she supported clients facing unemployment and discrimination issues. Ashley brings a wealth of experience in research and legal writing, generating outsized results based on her expertise in law and motion practice.
Ashley earned her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she served as a Student Attorney in the Community Legal Clinics and a Research Assistant in international water law. During law school, she also supported underserved communities through her work with the Sacramento Public Defender’s Office and Legal Aid at Work. Ashley currently serves as a Committee Member on the California State Bar Committee of Bar Examiners.
